Predictions Methodology

The Predictor was designed to use computer estimates from the Inference Index to predict future Denmark Superliga games. The Predictor does NOT account for injuries, or any other factors that may be cause the outcome to be swayed in one direction or another. See my disclaimer page for more on the benefits/downfalls about these predictions: Predictions Disclaimer.

In the 2016-2017 season there was a change in format with Denmark’s top division going from twelve to fourteen teams. Each team plays every other team two times, and then breaks into a Championship and Relegation Group. The top team from the Championship Group qualifies for Champions League. The second through fourth place team each qualify for Europa League. Finally, the team at the bottom of the table in the Relegation Group is sent down to the second division.
